Job Duties
- Takes comprehensive history and performs physical examinations
- Evaluates and treats patients based on history, physical examination, diagnostic test results
- Performs therapeutic procedures such as endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, vulvar biopsies, wound debridement, and vacuum therapy
- Develops and implements the Women’s Inclusive Sexual Health Clinic (WISH)
- Manages a Survivorship Clinic for cancer survivors
- Provides on-call services for inpatient population
- Affirmative action initiatives
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and currently licensed or eligible for licensure as an APRN
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a PA, FNP or ANP in Women’s Health or Surgical Oncology
Qualifications
- AGPNP/ANP (Adult Gerontology Primary Care NP or Adult NP): Adult pts (13 years to death), stable chronic disease state management or primary care setting.
- FNP (Family NP): (birth to death) Stable chronic disease state management, primary care across the lifespan.
