Position Details

  • Full-time - Days
  • 4-10-hour shifts
  • Monday- Friday (Day off rotates)
  • 80% Inpatient
  • 20% Outpatient
  • Working directly with 9 physicians and 16 APP's

Procedures

  • Simple wound closures
  • Shunt Taps
  • Delivery of Intrathecal medications

Patient Population

Neurotrauma subspecialty in Neurosurgery

Key Responsibilities

  • Rounding with trauma attending
  • Evaluating Neuro changes
  • Managing non-ICU hospitalized neurotrauma patients
  • Attending multidisciplinary meetings
  • Discharging

Qualifications

  • PA or ACNP certification required
  • New grad considered
  • Ideal candidate will have clinical background in Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Trauma neurology
  • ICU experience preferred
