Position Details
- Full-time - Days
- 4-10-hour shifts
- Monday- Friday (Day off rotates)
- 80% Inpatient
- 20% Outpatient
- Working directly with 9 physicians and 16 APP's
Procedures
- Simple wound closures
- Shunt Taps
- Delivery of Intrathecal medications
Patient Population
Neurotrauma subspecialty in Neurosurgery
Key Responsibilities
- Rounding with trauma attending
- Evaluating Neuro changes
- Managing non-ICU hospitalized neurotrauma patients
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings
- Discharging
Qualifications
- PA or ACNP certification required
- New grad considered
- Ideal candidate will have clinical background in Neurosurgery, Critical Care, Trauma neurology
- ICU experience preferred
