About the Role

Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our Nephrology team at Methodist Hospital, Riley Hospital, and University Hospital. This inpatient role works directly with 10 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers.

Schedule

  • Full-time, night shift: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 14 hours per night
  • 7 nights on, 14 nights off
  • Monday – Sunday rotation

Responsibilities

  • Manage care for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), and other general nephrology conditions
  • Handle new nephrology consults that occur at night

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required
  • Must be an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Nephrology and/or ICU experience preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
