Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Nephrology
Job Duties
- Assist inpatient providers with new consults and inpatient follow-ups for patients with acute kidney injury and electrolyte abnormalities
- Evaluate dialysis patients and write inpatient dialysis orders
- Assist with inpatient charting and documentation
- Assist providers in outpatient Nephrology clinic
About the Role
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing Nephrology team to deliver both inpatient and outpatient care on their Wilkes Barre Campus.
Requirements
Prior Nephrology training is not required, but the successful candidate will need to be able to work collaboratively/semi-independently with providers in a fast-paced inpatient/outpatient environment.

- Bachelor's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
- Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Preferred)
