Duties
- patient evaluations and exams
- orthopedic and musculoskeletal exams
- evaluate patients with chronic pain, sports injuries, joint dysfunction, migraines, nerve pain, and mobility limitations
- review imaging, prior treatment history, and functional limitations and order labs/imaging when appropriate
- develop individualized treatment plans
- perform procedures & injections such as trigger point/Steroid/corticosteroid/Joint injections and US guided MSK injections, Regen medicine treatments, Peptide therapy administration and management
- coordinate care with multidisciplinary team
- monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- maintain accurate EMR documentation
Qualifications
- Active NY Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- 2+ years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, sports medicine, or regenerative medicine preferred
- Comfortable performing injections independently
- knowledge of injections and DME
