Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care or emergency room experience to join our team at Memorial Hermann - GoHealth Urgent Care. You will work in our South Region Centers providing a wide range of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions, minor procedures, and directing patients to the emergency room for advanced care.

Responsibilities

• Treating both adult and pediatric patients
• Recognizing and managing more serious conditions
• Delivering an unparalleled patient experience
• Performing minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints
• Reading EKGs and X-rays
• Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues

Requirements

• 2-5 years of post-residency experience required for Physician Assistants
• 1 or more years of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required for Nurse Practitioners
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs and X-rays
• Active state medical licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required for Physician Assistants
• Master’s Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
