Days and Nights
Rotating 40 hours per week
Shared weekends w/ hours of 7a-7p
No call
100% inpatient
No procedural requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions/Discharges
- Coordination of care during rounds
- Providing patient and family education
- Initiating a workup for diagnosis and implementing a treatment plan
- Performing medical consults for subspecialty services
- Co-managing with multiple subspecialty services
Qualifications
- ACNP or PA certifications required
- Experience preferred but new grads are considered
- APP should have strong desire to work in the inpatient setting and have multiple years' experience working as a Hospitalist
- If new to workforce, would prefer APP's training include significant time in the inpatient setting.
