Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Family Medicine - St. James, MO

This group is powered by Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. This Opportunity Offers Day shift position working Monday - Friday Outpatient Clinic Full-time position Family med clinic seeing patients of all ages System-wide Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a Physician
• Conduct physical exams, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging
• Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities

Requirements

• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in Missouri
• Current DEA prescription drug prescribing privileges
• Experience in family medicine preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Tuition reimbursement now offered - Must be a Mercy Coworker for at least 12 months prior to course start date. Great for current Mercy RN's or MA's thinking about transitioning to an APP role.
