About the role
This opportunity offers work 12-hour shifts in the Emergency Department. It is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced practice care within the scope of practice as defined by state law and regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain certification and licensure.
- Assist in the coordination of patient care, including diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and discharge planning.
Requirements
- Must be a Mercy coworker for at least 12 months prior to applying for this position.
- Must have completed a relevant advanced practice program and hold appropriate certifications.
- Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in emergency department settings preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
