About the role

This opportunity offers work 12-hour shifts in the Emergency Department. It is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced practice care within the scope of practice as defined by state law and regulations.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and education to maintain certification and licensure.
  • Assist in the coordination of patient care, including diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Requirements

  • Must be a Mercy coworker for at least 12 months prior to applying for this position.
  • Must have completed a relevant advanced practice program and hold appropriate certifications.
  • Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in emergency department settings preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.
