Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Cardiovascular Surgery, Mercy Hospital South

Mercy is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to join our Cardiovascular Surgery team in St. Louis, MO. This team consists of physicians, advanced practitioners, and engaged support staff focused on quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• First assist in the CVOR
• Provide support in the clinic, seeing consults, follow-ups, patient calls, and questions
• Manage and round on post-op patients in the ICU and step-down units
• See new hospital consults and order appropriate pre-surgical workups
• Use system-wide Epic EMR

Requirements

• Experience in Vein and Radial Harvesting, CV surgery, and CV recovery preferred

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekend, call, and holiday requirements
