Nurse Practitioner, Obesity Medicine - Full Time W2 (Region 1)

About the role

We are hiring experienced Nurse Practitioners who are passionate about and who have recent experience in obesity medicine to provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity. In this role, you would collaborate with physicians and registered dietitians to deliver exceptional team-based care. This will be a full-time, remote position.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians and registered dietitians to deliver exceptional team-based care
• Provide evidence-based lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy to patients with obesity
• Conduct telemedicine visits and maintain a great "web-side" manner
• Engage in regular video visits, text messaging, photo journaling, digital data transmission, and provide customized educational materials to patients

Requirements

• Have a Nurse Practitioner degree, with experience practicing Obesity Medicine, including effective evidence-based lifestyle counseling and pharmacotherapy
• Be licensed to practice and prescribe legally in CA, CO or WA
• RN Compact license or multistate license is a bonus
• Have 2+ years of experience in outpatient or obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics, and/or 2 + years of obesity medicine experience in a primary care/internal medicine setting
• Have excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
• Commit to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management
• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred

Qualifications

• Passionate about obesity medicine
• Recent experience in obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics
• Experience in outpatient or obesity medicine, endocrinology, or bariatrics
• Experience in primary care/internal medicine setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
• Highly committed to the highest quality of medical care and an evidence-based approach to obesity management
• Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits
• Bilingual in Spanish (highly preferred)

Pay

Base Annual Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 USD
