Medical Director Services PC is looking to hire an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to service a skilled nursing facility in Monroe, GA. New graduates are welcome.
About the role
Serves as the primary care provider to long and short-term residents in a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include:
- Assessing patient health through visits, physical examinations, and medical history reviews.
- Collaborating with attending physicians and nursing home staff to deliver high-standard, team-based care.
- Building relationships with residents and families, educating them, and formulating evidence-based care plans aligned with patient needs and preferences.
- Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Maintaining professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
- Upholding a safe, clean, and respectful work environment that aligns with organizational core values.
- Reviewing and ensuring accurate, timely charting, documentation, and administration of care.
Requirements
- Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Skills in health promotion, clinical care, infection control, medication administration, pain management, and self-development.
- Strong bedside manner, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Hospital setting experience is preferred but not required.
Extensive training will be offered.
