Nurse Practitioner (NP) Outpatient Per Diem

The Nurse Practitioner provides expert clinical care in general or specialty areas, collaborating with physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive health assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, and evaluating responses to interventions. Key duties involve patient interviews, physical examinations, health education, securing informed consent, and ensuring continuity of care through documentation and follow-up. Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), RN and NP licensure, and CPR/BLS certification. Preferred candidates have at least two years of relevant clinical experience. Essential skills encompass excellent patient communication, documentation accuracy, cost-effective prescribing, and adherence to scope of practice. Additional responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date records, making appropriate referrals, and performing assigned duties to support patient health.
