Award-winning healthcare provider is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their team at an urgent care facility in Lake Charles. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care, manage patient interactions, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Provide patient education and counseling

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an NP or PA in Louisiana
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care or related setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR)

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN or PANCE
• Knowledge of pharmacology and medical terminology
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
