Responsibilities
- Provide medical care to hospice patients.
- Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management.
- Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Education and experience, essential: Must be a graduate of an approved school, and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state in which they currently practice.
- Education and experience, preferred: At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred. At least three years of clinical registered NP experience preferred.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid state driver license.
- Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- Must possess CPR certification.
