Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Hospice - PRN

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to hospice patients
• Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management
• Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school, and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state in which they currently practice
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare conditions of participation
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device

Preferred qualifications

• At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred
• At least three years of clinical registered NP experience preferred

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must possess CPR certification
