About the role
As a hospice and palliative care nurse practitioner, you will provide diagnosis, treatment, and care under the supervision of a physician, focusing on palliative care. Your role involves assisting families during their health care journeys with love and compassion.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited master's, post-master's, or doctoral nursing program with formal preparation as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current unencumbered licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with designation as a Nurse Practitioner. Must have current prescriptive authority with full DEA privileges.
- Must achieve and maintain national certification in the Nurse Practitioner specialty.
- 2 years experience within the last 5 years in chronic disease management/long-term care. Hospice and/or Palliative background preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 80-100 lbs.
