You Will:

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with standards of care.
• Follow standards of medical care and quality for patients, and monitor care using available data and chart reviews.
• Act as an active participant and key source of medical expertise with the care team through daily huddles.
• Set a tone of cooperation in practice by displaying a professional and approachable demeanor.
• Complete all medical record documentation in a timely manner working with a quality-based coder to optimize coding specificity.
• Follow policy and protocol defined by Clinical Leadership and BCBSAZ.
• Meet with other departments to discuss quality of care, outcome data, policy, procedure, and records issues.
• Participate in potential growth opportunities for new or existing services.
• Assure personal compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies.
• Build relationships with other healthcare providers, social/community organizations, and marketing partners.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

You Have:

• A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Arizona.
• Successfully completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and have an active Board Certification.
• A minimum of two years of applicable experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated a high level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues/patients.
• Fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team-based care” model.
• A willingness and ability to learn/adapt to practice in a value-based care setting.
• Superior patient/customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• BLS certification.
• An active AZ fingerprint clearance card.
• An Active DEA license.
