About the role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our internal medicine team as a hospitalist in Hamilton, NJ. This is an opportunity to work at a large, physician-owned group expanding in Hamilton, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and work as a hospitalist in a hospital setting
- Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of an attending physician
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient needs are met
- Manage patient care from admission through discharge
- Document patient encounters and progress notes accurately
- Conduct necessary diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Prescribe medications and provide treatment plans
- Attend continuing medical education courses and seminars
Requirements
- Current US work visa
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Nursing Practice
- Experience in hospitalist care preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing Practice
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN

Pay
$70-$80/hour
Schedule
Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients
- Working on a computer
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards
- Must wear required PPE per company and/or facility requirements
- Must comply with facility vaccination requirements
