Nurse Practitioner - Internal Medicine Nurse-Allied

Overview

Mission‑driven primary care group expanding its team of four providers to reduce hospital stays within a value‑based care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care exclusively, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (no nights or weekends).
• See 13–16 patients per day, typically every three months, with more frequent visits for complex cases.
• Deliver preventive screenings and manage a variety of acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform occasional suturing, joint injections, and skin biopsies.
• Utilize on‑site laboratory services with a phlebotomist.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, care teams, a scribe, and a medical assistant to develop coordinated care plans.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm; no night or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Virginia nursing license.
• Understanding of ICD‑10 coding.
• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Medical Doctor (with or without U.S. residency) holding a current U.S. work visa.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 (based on experience).
