Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient, Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Service
About the role
Affectionately known as SRMC-Sutter Roseville Med Center, we're excited about your interest in joining our team. You'll be working closely with a physician to assess, diagnose, and implement medical care for patients. Your role will involve coordinating care, educating patients and their families, and fostering strong relationships with other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Assesses and diagnoses patients
- Coordinates and delivers patient care
- Evaluates and manages the care plan
- Fosters collaborative relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, and legal requirements
- Grows and develops in advanced nursing practice
- Follows standardized procedures and protocols
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Nurse Practitioner certification (NP)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience as a nurse practitioner
Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of advanced nursing theories, concepts, and practices
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry and relevant regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Record
- Prioritization and delegation skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Privacy awareness regarding patient health information

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $178,651.20 to $250,999.20 annually. The actual compensation can vary based on location and other factors. Total compensation includes base pay, bonuses, and other benefits.
Schedule
This position is full-time with variable weekend requirements and rotating weekends.
