Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (RNFA) - Trauma Surgery

Responsibilities

• Participating in daily inpatient rounds and multidisciplinary care coordination.
• Assisting surgeons in the operating room across a variety of surgical procedures.
• Managing postoperative and trauma follow-up care in the outpatient clinic setting.
• Facilitating discharge planning and ensuring seamless transitions of care.
• Serving as a key liaison among patients, families, consulting providers, and ancillary departments to support optimal communication and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Oklahoma Nurse Practitioner license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Pay

• This Physician Assistant is a part-time opportunity, (around 7, 12-hour shifts per month).
• The Nurse Practitioner position requires population specific competencies.
