About the Role
This PRN Registered Nurse position provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, primarily Med-Surg units with moderate to high patient acuity. The role involves utilizing the nursing process within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, top-of-scope care, prioritizing patient safety and wellness. Nurses will support and guide new staff and contribute to quality outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care utilizing clinical expertise and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Precept and mentor new or less experienced staff.
- Participate in maintaining safety and quality standards at the point of care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
- Current RN licensure.
- Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience.
- BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days post-hire.
