Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient Oncology

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Oncology team. This role involves delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care for oncology patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute and chronic cancer-related conditions
• Perform procedures such as biopsies and lumbar punctures
• Interpret diagnostic tests
• Educate patients and families
• Apply clinical assessment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills

Requirements

• Master's or doctorate in nursing with ACNP certification or eligible licensure
• Oncology experience preferred

Schedule

This is a PRN role with day hours, including weekends and holidays.
