Job Description

PearHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA is seeking a .6 FTE Nurse Practitioner - GYN Oncology.

About the role

Practice Highlights: New service in the OB Gyn department. Practice will include assistance with triaging patients, writing orders for and seeing patients undergoing chemotherapy, managing chemotherapy side effects, seeing post-operative patients with complications, including occasional rounding at the hospital. Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Epic EHR.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with triaging patients
• Writing orders for and seeing patients undergoing chemotherapy
• Managing chemotherapy side effects
• Serving as a resource for post-operative patients with complications
• Occasional rounding at the hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of post-training NP or PA experience, preferably in Oncology
• Experience in OBGYN and with procedures including colposcopies and biopsies is a plus
• Flexibility with schedule is essential

Qualifications

• Certification in BLS, ACLS, or PALs required as a condition of employment within 30 days of hire

Pay

• $65.86/hr - $82.46/hr
