Nurse Practitioner Gastroenterology
Job Details
- Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform medication management, patient education, and counseling on lifestyle modifications to promote optimal digestive health.
- Manage acute and chronic GI conditions, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with gastroenterologists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
- Educate and empower patients to understand their conditions and actively participate in their treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records (Epic).
Job Requirements
- Board-Eligible/Board-Certified
- Active or eligible license in the state of Arkansas
