Nurse Practitioner Full Time

About the role

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team in San Diego, California. Our state-of-the-art Urgent Care centers provide episodic treatment of acute illnesses and injuries on a walk-in basis, seven days a week, with lab and x-rays on-site.

Schedule

• 12 shifts monthly, typically 2–3 workdays per week
• 9–12-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) with pre-approved overtime
• Day, evening, and weekend shifts required

Pay

• Hourly rate: $67–$73
• Hourly blended rate (including overtime): $74–$83
• Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds

Requirements

• Unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• FNP or ENP Certificate
• AANP or ANCC Board Certification
• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care, or Primary Care setting
• Ability to treat patients of all ages and perform minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses)
