Nurse Practitioner for OTP Clinic

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in patient admission for Methadone and Buprenorphine Treatment
• Obtain patient histories and conduct physical exams
• Document findings into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Enter methadone dosing orders in the EMR or write buprenorphine prescriptions
• Authorize and supervise the dispensing of daily narcotic replacement therapy and other medications under the Medical Director's absence
• Maintain consistent monitoring of patient dosages in collaboration with the Program Physician/Medical Director, Treatment Center Director, counselors, and Dosing Nurses
• Perform other related duties as directed by the supervisor

Position Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in good standing with the State of Illinois
• Must have drug rehabilitation training and knowledge
• Must be able to interact compassionately with a diverse population
• Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check required

Pay

Salary range: $59.00 to $61.58 per hour. Salary determined based on experience, education, specialty, and training.
