Nurse Practitioner for In-home Visits

About the role

Board-certified nurse practitioner contractors conduct in-home health evaluations for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plan members.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home visits focusing on overall health and identifying care barriers.
• Review medication and medical history, and conduct physical evaluations in members' homes.
• Use pre-populated forms; do not prescribe medication or alter treatments.
• Manage a flexible schedule with pre-scheduled visits, available 7 days a week.
• Maintain malpractice coverage and state licensure.
• Handle logistics such as airfare, hotel, and rental car (based on eligibility).

Pay

• Potential to earn up to $4,000 weekly, with pay-per-test incentives and up to 135% rate increases.
• Additional compensation for qualifying diagnostic and preventive tests.

Qualifications & Skills

• Current state nurse practitioner license.
• Willingness to enroll in Medicaid (preferred).
• Ability to work independently as an independent contractor (1099).
• Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with patients.
