About the role

Join us at The Oregon Clinic as a full-time (32 hours a week) Nurse Practitioner. Work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians in our thriving Advanced Urology Associates at Emanuel Clinic, located in North Portland. Coverage is required for our two additional Urology Clinics located in Gresham and Tualatin.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialty care services, including assessing and managing patients in the clinic following established standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure the highest quality of care for their patients.
  • Delegating to Nurse Practitioners those medical duties that are within the physician’s scope of practice and the NP’s training, and that are allowed by law.
  • Contribute to physician's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing physician directives.
  • Update records as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and current Oregon license.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting is required.
  • Previous specialty care experience in Urology is a plus!
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nurse practitioner experience preferred.
  • Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required.
  • Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
  • Strong knowledge of urologic procedures, treatments and terminology.
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
  • Excellent attendance and work ethic.
  • Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
  • Commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Pay

Salary: Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $123,368.96 - $185,053.44 per year.

Schedule

Typical hours are 32 hours a week, Monday-Friday, four 8-hour shifts with a day off: TBD (8:00 am – 5:00 pm).
