Department : MFS Adv Practice Prov Location: Millard Fillmore Suburban Location of Job : US:NY:Williamsville Work Type : Temporary Scheduled Work Hours: 6a-4p Shift 1 Job Description Practice of registered professional nursing by a nurse practitioner may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice, in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved, provided such services are performed in accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols. Education And Credentials Completion of masters, post-masters’ or doctorate NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN required. Current active RN and NP license in NYS required. National NP certification required for *Internal hire: Required upon transfer into new position *External hire: Required at the time of application. Current BLS, ACLS required. DEA or DEA eligible required. AND Agreement from appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement required. Experience At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience required. Two (2) years of clinical experience in specialty area of practice (med/surg) as RN or NP preferred.
