Nurse Practitioner *FNP/ANP*
About the Role
Practice of registered professional nursing by a nurse practitioner may include the diagnosis of illness and physical conditions and the performance of therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice, in collaboration with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved. Services are performed in accordance with a written practice agreement and written practice protocols.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Completion of master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN required.
- Current active RN and NP license in NYS required.
- National NP certification required:
- Internal hire: Required upon transfer into new position.
- External hire: Required at the time of application.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- DEA or DEA eligible required.
- Agreement from appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement required.
- At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
- 1 year of experience as NP or two years of clinical experience in specialty area of practice (critical care) as RN or NP preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time, onsite position.
- Shift: 06:00 PM to 07:00 AM (overnight).
- Weekend and holiday work required.
- Bi-weekly scheduled hours: 75.00 (FTE: 1.000000).
Pay
Salary range: $65.04 - $81.78 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
