About the role

This position is a full-time employed position with Renown Medical Group as a Provider.

Responsibilities

• Meet a significant community need and improve access to mental health and addiction treatment by connecting adults to the right care.
• Reduce the number of adult psychiatric and addiction patients being treated in Renown Emergency Departments to open beds for other individuals with medical needs.
• Maintain communication with patients treated at Crisis Care Center for at least one year to track recidivism and progress of care coordination.

Requirements

• Experience: 2-years minimum experience as an RN required. 1-year of clinical experience preferred as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Prior experience in the Behavioral Health field or interest in Behavioral Health field.
• Licensure: Ability to obtain and maintain State of Nevada licensure, Controlled Substance License, and DEA as a Nurse Practitioner.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current active unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nevada.
• Current Controlled Substance License in the state of Nevada.
• Current DEA registration as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Nevada.
