Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric experience to deliver behavioral health services to nursing home and long-term care residents across South Arkansas. The organization provides patient caseloads, administrative support, credentialing assistance, and access to psychiatrist consultation as needed.

Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits
- Assess and manage depression, anxiety, dementia-related behaviors, and other behavioral health conditions
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
- Maintain EMR documentation and treatment plans
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and facility leadership
- Travel between assigned facilities throughout the week as needed
Requirements
- Active Arkansas Nurse Practitioner license
- PMHNP preferred; other NP backgrounds considered if comfortable managing psychiatric patients
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Experience in psychiatry, geriatrics, long-term care, primary care, or related settings preferred
- Ability to work independently with clinical support available
