Nurse Practitioner
About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is required to complete an NP Agreement with their Collaborating Physician(s), outlining the NP’s role and function, NP/Physician relationship, privileges/procedures, prescriptive authority, documentation responsibilities, and evaluation process. The NP will support individual-level objectives, budget, performance metrics, and medical activities, including implementation of quality control standards, risk management, and compliance programs.
Requirements
- Master's in Nursing (Required)
- Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) by the Virginia Department of Health Professions (Required)
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions (Required)
- Two years of Nurse Practitioner experience (Preferred)
