About the role

The NP plays a pivotal role in our vascular and interventional radiology practice, focusing on clinical duties that include assessing, diagnosing, and educating patients. They collaborate with a team of experts to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate a wide variety of patients
  • Order appropriate laboratory, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures
  • Interpret patient data to develop a suitable treatment plan, consulting with supervising physicians as needed
  • Instruct patients and families on the implications of test results and treatment plans
  • Support nursing staff in communicating results and handling patient inquiries
  • Assist with procedural tasks as necessary

Requirements

  • Current state license as a PA or NPC
  • CPR certification
  • Completed advanced practitioner training and certification
  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Prompt and reliable attendance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing priorities
  • Physical stamina for frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping, or sitting for long periods
  • Proficiency in using office equipment and phone systems

Qualifications

  • Advanced practitioner training and certification from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current state license as a PA or NPC
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PA or NPC
