Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with patients, store personnel, and the healthcare community to enhance practice building and continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's Degree as a Physician Assistant (PAs in Ohio must have completed 500 hours of post-graduate physician-supervised experience).
  • One year of experience in healthcare.
  • Active license, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification, and all necessary state credentials.
  • Board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C); or physician assistant (PA-C), where eligible.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desired: Experience with applicable clinical procedures, electronic health record charting systems, retail health, emergency health, critical care, leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Desired: Previous experience in retail health, emergency health, critical care.
  • Desired: Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Desired: Provide the highest quality of medical care to patients, maintain company metrics for productivity, participate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings.
  • Desired: Ensure a safety and quality-based healthcare environment, manage clinic inventory, order supplies, maintain cost-effective clinical operations, perform quality control on instrumentation and CLIA waived testing, utilize company information systems, attend ongoing education seminars, and participate in community outreach programs.
  • Desired: Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance, wear a clean, white lab coat, closed-toe shoes, and comply with The Little Clinic dress code.
  • Desired: Participate in operational duties and responsibilities as assigned by regional management.
  • Desired: Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Skills

  • Highly skilled in diagnosing and treating illnesses, providing preventative medicine, and educating patients.
  • Proficient in electronic health record charting systems.
  • Effective in managing multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Skilled in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
  • Experienced in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong in interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Well-versed in computer systems and software applications.
  • Excellent in verbal and written communication.
