About the role
Quality Correctional Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners to lead a team of medical staff and provide treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The ideal candidate will play a critical part in advancing Quality Correctional Care's services in the northern region of Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of medical staff
- Provide treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions
- Advance Quality Correctional Care's services in the northern region of Indiana
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner, currently licensed to practice medicine in the state of hire
- Cleared background check
- Indiana License (Michigan license bonus, but not required)
- BLS/CPR certified
- Previous experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care or ER Medicine Background preferred
Pay
Based on employee licensure and previous experiences.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to travel to various correctional facilities in the Northwestern part of the state (Porter, LaPorte, St. Joseph, Starke, Jasper)
- Full-Time Monday through Friday 40 hours per week
- Some flexibility and availability to work weekends every 4-6 weeks
