Responsibilities
- Actively participating in trauma activations
- Evaluating trauma patients
- Managing clinical care
- Performing procedures such as chest tubes and intubations
- Serving as a consistent team presence
- Coordinating care
- Documenting patient records
- Planning discharges
- Assisting in surgeries
Qualifications
- Board certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- Arizona license or eligibility
- Surgical patient care experience preferred (new graduates considered)
Required certifications
- RNFA
- BLS
- ATLS
- ACLS
Preferred certifications
- PALS
- ABLS
- NRP
Practice details
Full-time role with combined clinic and inpatient duties, covering day and mid-shift hours across four ten-hour shifts weekly.
