About the role
Join a full-time Advanced Practice Provider role offering a unique combination of women’s health, primary care, and lifestyle medicine in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule 4-day workweek | Full-time | 40 hours/week | Hours are 7:00 AM–5:30 PM and 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Week 1: Monday–Thursday
- Week 2: Tuesday–Friday
- Every other weekend enjoy a 4-day weekend!
- Every 5 weeks: Work a remote week providing virtual patient visits from home.
- Congratulates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development
- Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
- Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
- Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
- Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
- Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records
- Edits and coaches nursing staff on best practices
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong Advanced Practice Provider with a background in women’s health
- Primary care experience is required
- Lifestyle medicine experience is a must
- Comfortable caring for a broad female patient population and providing both women’s health and primary care services
Qualifications
- Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice
- Maintains State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
- Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
- Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
- Maintains Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
- Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
- At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
