About the role

You’ll be part of a team that is resilient and seeks fairness by listening and advocating for patients and the community. You’ll work in a collaborative team to provide patient-centered care, including care for people who may otherwise not have access. You and the clinical staff will design and implement individualized care in a setting where each patient is treated with respect and compassion. You will have opportunities to influence decisions regarding care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide direct patient primary care
  • Facilitate care coordination and clinical collaboration
  • Ensure quality care and risk mitigation

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Nurse Practitioner, licensed in NYS prior to start date
  • Candidates with 3 or more years of experiences will be given preference
  • Outstanding “bedside manners”: patient-centric with empathy, excellent active listening and communication skills, engaging and efficient
  • Outstanding clinical capabilities and judgment
  • Kindness: you treat each person with respect and compassion, valuing each person’s story
  • Resiliency: you see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise
  • Teamwork: you are open to others’ unique perspectives, and will collaborate to meet shared goals
  • Fairness: Healthcare is a right. You listen and advocate for patients and the community
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high accountability environment
  • Proficient in EHR systems
  • Comfortable receiving and providing appreciative and corrective feedback

  • Proficient in working with in-person or telephonic interpreters

Qualifications

Education and Skills to be a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner at Neighborhood:

Pay

$110,000 - $115,000 annual salary (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)
