NURSE PRACTITIONER

About the role

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Community Pulmonology practice 3 days a week in Owings Mills. The practice focuses on comprehensive care for respiratory system disorders and sleep disorders, and also covers ventilator management in some nursing homes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory system disorders and sleep disorders
• Manage ventilator management in some nursing homes
• Conduct pulmonary function testing at the lab
• Collaborate with a team of 2 physicians and 2 NPs
• Work part-time, employed position with consistent work hours
• Participate in on-call rotation by phone on some nights and weekends
• Manage a growing patient population
• Work in a large and diverse patient population

Requirements

• Master’s degree and Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioner license (APN, APRN, or NP)
• Pulmonary/SLEEP experience (not required)
• Current RN license in good standing in Maryland
• Demonstrated computer proficiency
• Effective communication skills (both in writing and verbally)
