Requirements
- An unencumbered State of South Dakota Nurse Practitioner license and Registered Nurse, RN license.
- National Certification from an accredited body such as AANP or ANCC.
- Five years experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Previous experience in geriatrics, skilled nursing or long term care preferred.
Qualifications
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Unencumbered State of South Dakota Nurse Practitioner license and Registered Nurse, RN license.
- National Certification from an accredited body such as AANP or ANCC.
- Five years experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Previous experience in geriatrics, skilled nursing or long term care preferred.
Skills
As a Nurse Practitioner, your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Norton by providing comprehensive, proactive medical care to short- and long-term residents, focusing on chronic disease management, acute illness assessment, and reducing hospital readmissions.
