About the role

Nurse Practitioner FNP/ANP position available in the Millard Fillmore Suburban operating room department.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose illness and physical conditions
• Perform therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice
• Collaborate with a licensed physician qualified to collaborate in the specialty involved

Requirements

• Doctoral Degree in Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Current active RN and NP licenses in NYS
• Completed National Certification in Family/Adult Nurse Practitioner (not specified)
• Current BLS, ACLS certifications
• DEA or DEA eligibility
• Completed RNFA if in OR
• Agreement from an appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical experience in specialty area of practice (surgical services) as RN or NP preferred

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment
• Effective problem-solving abilities

$63.15 - $79.40 per hour
