Responsibilities
- Manage outpatient clinical care with some inpatient support, providing continuity from diagnosis through post-operative follow-up
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpret tests, and prescribe medications
- Facilitate smooth transitions between hospital and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with surgical team members, participate in patient education, consultation, and research
- Support complex surgical oncology patients undergoing procedures involving the liver, pancreas, and biliary system
Qualifications & Skills
- Current Board Certification, DEA license, and BLS certification
- Graduate degree from an accredited ACNP program
- Comfortable managing both outpatient and inpatient care, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Oncology experience preferred but not required; new graduates encouraged to apply
Key Duties
- Provide comprehensive surgical oncology care, perform procedures, interpret diagnostics, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes in a flexible outpatient/inpatient setting
