Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient clinical care with some inpatient support, providing continuity from diagnosis through post-operative follow-up
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, interpret tests, and prescribe medications
• Facilitate smooth transitions between hospital and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with surgical team members, participate in patient education, consultation, and research
• Support complex surgical oncology patients undergoing procedures involving the liver, pancreas, and biliary system

Qualifications & Skills

• Current Board Certification, DEA license, and BLS certification
• Graduate degree from an accredited ACNP program
• Comfortable managing both outpatient and inpatient care, working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Oncology experience preferred but not required; new graduates encouraged to apply

Key Duties

• Provide comprehensive surgical oncology care, perform procedures, interpret diagnostics, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes in a flexible outpatient/inpatient setting
