About the role

The Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board (H-NNCSB) is currently seeking an Autonomous Practice Nurse Practitioner.

Requirements

• Autonomous Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with RX Authority, with specializations in Family, Adult/Geriatric Acute, Adult/Geriatric Primary, or similar
• Conduct medical histories and physical exams (HandPs) for patients admitted to the Regional Crisis Stabilization unit located in the BJ Roberts Behavioral Health Center
• Ensure each assessment is completed within 24 hours of admission
• Provide on-call medical support during weekends, with compensation set at $250 for on-call coverage and $500 for days you conduct on-site physicals
