Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Gifford is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their well-established and thriving Primary Care team. The role is split between the Randolph and Chelsea clinics.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services to patients in collaboration with the medical staff.
• Perform physical exams, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe medications as appropriate.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Vermont.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for community health and patient-centered care.

Skills

• Proficient in electronic health record systems.
