About the Role
ExpressCare Urgent Care Centers, a LifeBridge Health Partner, are expanding in Carroll County, Maryland. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team of providers across 32+ locations, with additional sites opening this year. Our focus is on urgent care medicine, treating a wide range of non-emergent conditions, minor trauma, and performing minor procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients of all ages
- Perform minor procedures, including:
- Suturing
- Incision and drainage (I & D) of abscesses and paronychia
- Foreign body removal
- Manage minor fractures and dislocations
- Interpret basic EKGs and X-rays
- Multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Experience in Urgent Care, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine preferred
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and 13–14 hour shifts
