Nurse Practitioner

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
• Reviewing and analyzing electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals.
• Strong analytical skills, time management, and professionalism.
• Compassionate demeanor when interacting with Veterans.

Schedule

In-person, full-time position with a predictable schedule and no on-call duties. Caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily.
