About the role
SSM Health - Illinois seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Endocrinology team in Mt. Vernon. The successful candidate will join our Medical Group and will be affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in a full-time position. This is an employed position with SSM Health - Good Samaritan Hospital, a premier hospital system located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, where easy access is available to St. Louis, Chicago, Evansville, Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, and Nashville.
- Facility is a not-for-profit Catholic institution affiliated with SSM Health
- Clinic-based position with a Monday - Friday schedule
- No night call
- Signing payment eligible position
- Relocation benefits offered for candidates who move from over 60 miles away
Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA school
- Hold current Board Certification
- Experienced endocrinology provider is preferred, however new graduates will not be excluded, with preference given to those with previous Diabetic Educator experience
- Active Illinois APN or PA license is preferred

Pay
Compensation for this role is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, medical specialty, labor market, and other qualifications. The posted pay range for this position is what SSM Health reasonably expects, in good faith, to offer based on the circumstances at the time of posting. This position may also be eligible for incentive pay.
